A few good hearten persons gathered frequently and started discussing about the situation of the people and started doing some service to the deserving. In course of time seven like minded people decided to form as a group accordingly, we started functioning having the name "DOWNTRODDEN ECONOMIC AND EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY". Our social service was systematically organized from 1st August 1991 onwards under the able leadership of Rev.Fr.S.S.Muthu who is known for his tiredness work and efficiency.
